Our Goals

Our goals are to support both the academic and music programs financially.

The PTA requests dues from every family at the beginning of every year. The PTA also coordinates parents’ financial support for the Kaufman Center. The PTA’s goal is to show strong support for both programs, especially in terms of participation, or the total number of families supporting both programs.

The Special Music School is a unique public-private partnership. Its academic program is funded by the New York City Department of Education. Its musical program is funded by private donations.
