FUNDRAISING FOR ACADEMICS: PTA ANNUAL APPEAL

The New York City Department of Education isn’t able to fully cover the costs of our school's enriched academics (separate from the music education, supported by the Kaufman Music Center). The PTA supplements the school’s DOE budget by ~$130,000/year. We aim to cover this entire amount via our Annual Appeal.

 

Your donation of $400, $800, or $1,200 pays for all of the following (and more): 

  • National Dance Institute (K-5)
  • Advanced placement (AP) teacher training
  • Classroom and art supplies
  • Field trips
  • High school clubs
  • Technology upgrades
  • Capital improvements
  • Graduation events

  • Professional development

  • Teacher discretionary funds
  • Community-building events

Please include the student’s name and grade in all donation comments or notes.

  • Pay with credit/debit card via Stripe (credit card fees apply)
  • Pay via PayPal Giving Fund (no fee, lump sum donations only, receive immediate tax receipt, PayPal account required)
  • Pay with standard PayPal (monthly or lump sum donations, PTA incurs fee, tax receipts sent twice a year by PTA treasurers, no PayPal account required)
